Futsal Association Uganda celebrate their first FIFA Futsal Referees

Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has been developing Futsal in their country for a number of years and over that time they have been building relations with the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA).  Jjunju Hamzah, Chairman of the Futsal Associaton Uganda was working toward full membership of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) at their assembly last September.

Now, the FAU are celebrating another step for their sport and that is the development of two of their referees Nsubuga Emmanuel and Ssenyongo Isaac who have received their FIFA Futsal Referee badges after passing FIFA fitness test. Both referees are now waiting their first FIFA appointments no doubt both will be hoping to be selected for the 2020 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations or the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Lithuania to continue their development.
