The Panamanian team will be hosted at the Sorocaba Conventions Center, this exchange is part of the ‘Magnus Exchange’ project, linked to Magnus Futsal
Sorocaba will be home to the Panama Futsal Team for the next 20 days, a period that the cast and coaching staff will use to prepare for the Futsal World Cup dispute. With arrival scheduled for this Wednesday night, the team will train and compete in a series of friendlies in Brazilian territory focused on the dispute of the World Cup that will take place in Lithuania in September.
The Panamanian team will be hosted at the Sorocaba Conventions Center (Atletico Sorocaba’s CT), a reference in the area. In all, there will be six friendly games: against São Paulo, São José, MRW, Aroeira, Hortolândia and Magnus U-20, as well as daily training at Arena Sorocaba. Importantly, every delegation will undergo strict sanitary control and regular Covid-19 tests.
This exchange is part of the ‘Magnus Exchange’ project, linked to Magnus Futsal, with the entire organizational structure of TFW Marketing Esportivo, manager of the Sorocabano team. This is the second time that a futsal team has landed in Brazil as a way to prepare for major international tournaments.
Earlier this season, Guatemala had the chance to get to know the entire management and methodology applied in Magnus Futsal up close and, as a result of this partnership, the team competed in the CONCACAF Qualifiers and won a spot for the World Cup.
