Evaluating the Impact of Video-Based Training on Futsal Dribbling Skills in Young Athletes

This research paper examines the effectiveness of different video-based training methods on futsal dribbling skills in U13 athletes. The study compared zig-zag and triangle dribbling techniques, delivered through Zoom video calls versus YouTube videos and offline meetings. The findings suggest that Zoom video calls are more effective for zig-zag dribbling, while YouTube videos can be more beneficial for triangle dribbling. Ultimately, this study demonstrated that video-based training can enhance futsal skills, and the best approach depends on the specific technique and the athlete’s learning style, highlighting the significance of creative and interactive video design. Moreover, incorporating technology into sports training offers new avenues for skill development, especially during situations such as the Covid-19 pandemic, when traditional training methods are limited. The study underscores the broader role of technology in modern sports, promoting innovation and improved athlete performance.
